Tyler The Creator Explains His UK Ban on Twitter

So yesterday we covered a story (see it here) about the California Rapper/Producer Tyler The Creator & how he has been banned from the United Kingdom, but today he confirmed on Twitter why this is happening. See Below.

Tyler's manager stated in a Tumblr post that the reason he's been banned is because of the controversial lyrics from his 2009 album bastard & his 2011 Goblin. The letter states "his music encourages violence & intolerance of homosexuality" as well as " fosters hatred with views that seek to provoke others to terrorist attacks"

The part about all of this that is so baffling to the world is the fact Tyler has been to the UK multiple times as stated by is manager Christian Clancy.

“..tyler has been to the UK over 20x in the last 5 years without incident (shows, in stores, meet and greets). we rented out a movie theatre last month in London for a private showing of napoleon dynamite for his fans. literally last month.”
